Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
- The competition is open to individuals, college and professional societies, and groups involved in theatre, drama and filmmaking.
- Participants must register through the official competition website www.notedown.in/leher by 20th July, 2024.
Technical Requirements
- Films should be submitted in digital format (.mp4, .mov, or .avi) with a minimum resolution of 1080p.
- The submission file size should not exceed 1GB.
- Films should include a title card with the film's title, the director's name, and the production timing.
Judging Criteria
- Films will be judged based on professional quality, including direction, cinematography, screenplay, editing, sound design, and overall impact.
- A panel of industry professionals will review the films and select the winners.
Audience Poll
- An audience poll will be conducted on NoteDown Films' Instagram page (@notedown.in).
- Followers can vote for their favorite films, and the film with the highest votes will receive the Audience Choice Award.
General Conditions
- NoteDown Films and LEHER reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not adhere to the terms and conditions.
- Decisions made by the judging panel are final and not subject to appeal.
- Participants agree to abide by all rules and conditions of the competition.
- Participants must disclose the names of all team members involved in the film production.
Film Submission
- Films must be original works created specifically for this competition.
- The maximum duration for each film is 10 minutes, including credits.
- Films can be in Hindi or English preferably. Regional and Vernacular language will be allowed on the condition that if the film is in any other language other than Hindi or English, must include English subtitles.
- Films must not contain any offensive or inappropriate content.
Submission Process
- Films must be submitted via the official submission portal on the competition website.
- The submission deadline is 31st July 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Participants must fill out a submission form with their film, providing all required information accurately.
- Each submission must include a Behind-The-Scenes (BTS ) video to prove the authenticity of the film. This video will be in addition to the movie and should showcase the filmmaking process and all team members involved.
Prizes and Recognition
- 1st Prize: Rs 5000, 2nd Prize: Rs 3000, 3rd Prize: Rs 2000
- Special categories include Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay, Best Editing, Best Sound Design, Audience Choice Award, and more.
- Winners will be announced on 15th August, 2024 on NoteDown Films website and Instagram page and will be notified via email.
Intellectual Property
- Participants retain ownership of their films.
- By submitting a film, participants grant NoteDown Films and LEHER the right to screen the film at the competition event, website, Instagram page and use clips/images for promotional purposes.
